噂話の果実-The Fruit of Rumour-

楽園の果てに一本の木を生やしておいた
それは噂話の果実
口にした者はその甘さに魅せられ
次々に分け与えていった

遠く異国に住む
僕の所まで
それはやってきて
机の上にある

始まりはその実を知る者と
知らない者に分かれた事で
補い合いたい気持ちは決断を迫ってくる
理解と誤解のどちらを選ぶのか

噂話はやがて
実態の無い幽霊となって
女の姿に化けて
アタシは汚されたという

地滑りが始まれば
誰にもどうしようも出来ない

僕は復讐に燃える眼で鏡を見たよ
それは壁に塗り込まれたような醜い泣き顔
本当にしたい事はこんなんじゃないのに

傷つけ合わないと話も始まらないなんて
気が遠くなるくらい愚かじゃないか
絶対的な自由の為に罪を犯して
牢獄の一人暮らしに憧れてみるんだ


I planted a single tree in the orchard of paradise
That bears the fruit of rumour
Whoever brings it to their lips are captured by its sweetness
It gets divided up and passed around

It finally reaches where I am living,
far away in in a foreign land
It is now lying here upon my table

In the beginning, the world was divided
People who knew of the fruit and those that did not
Judgement was pursued by the desire to inform each other
Understanding or misunderstanding, which will you chose?

Rumours finally become ghosts without substance
Take on the form of a woman, and say "I am ruined"

Once that landslide has begun, there is nothing anyone can do

I look into the mirror with my eyes burning with revenge
There was an ugly crying face,
as if it were painted on the walls
I swear this was not really what I wanted to do

The idea that If we don't hurt each other,
conversation will never start
Is so ridiculous I lose my mind
I committed this crime for absolute freedom
And all I want is a life alone inside a prison cell
